Hello Amelia. I can identify with that temperature. I love your dogs. Our dog, Oliver, has just done a post for me. Stop by and see what he has to say.
I have never seen or felt that temp. Wow. We have been in negative temps this past week too. But not that far. I thank you for your comment. And wanted you to know. I did not mean I wanted to leave. I just stated what some may have asked. It is hard to express true feeling. And some times you need to vent.As in writing them I can release them and feel better. I hope you understand. Big hug. Stay warm.
March 3, 2011 - Thank you so much for your wonderful caring comments on my blog!
How funny that Jane and Josephine are your daughter's names too! Jane is my great-niece, her mom is my niece and her grandma is my sister. Jane's name was inspired by Jane Eyre, her mother's favorite story, and Josephine was my grandmother's name. My son and his wife are having a baby in April and her name will be Clara Josephine. My middle name is Jo, after my grandmother, and so is one of my granddaughters. What a coincidence with your daughters!!
Hope all is going well in your world - it's still snowy and pretty cold here, but I still have high hopes that Spring will arrive!! Stay warm and . . . think Spring!

Good Gosh---I've never experienced temps that low --in my entire life.... How can you stand it???? (Guess you are used to it in the winter.)

Very nippy indeed! It was -44c with the windchill this morning.

I think this was the morning Heidi put her nose out the door and promptly withdrew. I don't remember her previously refusing to go outside.
