I won’t write after every one of these pictures. Enough to say that we had another snowstorm yesterday worthy of January of February!!! The bear, if any one wonders, is a plywood bear my triplet granddaughters made a few years ago and it really does look real. People are always thinking it’s real but it’s not

Also if any one wonders about the ringed curtains hanging outside out windows, they are there to stop the birds from killing themselves by flying into the windows. We have them on every window and glass door in the house.

I guess this is what happens when you put the snowblower and shovels away!!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh my!!! Almost unbelievable. But I certainly believe you!

Wow! So much, for me being *jealous* of the pics of blooming fruit trees and etc., which some bloggers can show! Hahhhhhhhhhhh! I'm just gonna' be glad that I don't have a snow storm outside my windows.

Goooood idea! Those things, to help birds from dive-bombing into glass!

As to how you would love to live in the pictures I'm using on my latest blog look.... The ones from the 'Brambly Hedge' books and the sweet animal pics drawn by that man, whose pics I am linking to a lot.

Me too!!!!!!! I want to just pop right into those pictures, like 'Mary Poppins' did, into the sidewalk chalk drawings, in "Mary Poppins." :-)))))))) I want to do that anytime. But especially after listening to "the news." :-(

Did you ever see any of the "Brambly Hedge" books? I have one, and love it. You can do a search for them, on Google. Or on Amazon dot com, and maybe you could find a used copy there, for a reasonable price.

I say that, because I kind of think that new ones, may be expensive. I probably got mine, as a used book from Amazon. :-)

Yes Ma'am! I love it, when I access my own blog... When I have sweet little things on it. And so, I'm pretty sure, a lot of bloggers enjoy coming to mine, for the same reason.

In reality, we live in our minds. Everything we see or hear or which happens to us or around us or we hear about...... Is processed by us, in our own mind. So it seems that we can try to keep our mind set, in a soft mode. Try. And looking at these sweet little drawings, would seem to set the stage for keeping our mind, in a soft mode. :-)

Gentle hugs,
.....♥.....

You just told me what to do to the windows to keep the birds from banging into them! Thanks! I am so drooling over the snow photos. You know I would love to be there enjoying every flake. Hope the
Easter Bunny can make it through the snow for you.

I find it distressing to look outside and still see snow. We had a snowfall recently (not as much as yours though) and it was annoying as I wanted to rake my lawn that weekend. Now, I thought, I'll just look silly out there with a rake.

Ohhhhh my gooooodnesssss! I guess I won't feel so bad about 40 degrees and lots of rain, although, it is beautiful! Then, I think about living in tornado alley, and I consider myself pretty lucky... :0)

I really did think you were going to post about a bear, it looks real! I hope they are smart and stay in their nice warm caves!!

How are you doing? I've been thinking of you and hoping that all is going well...thoughts and prayers are with you...

Hang in there - it's bound to get warm someday!!

Hugs,
Barb

P.S. Love the rings - I hate it when those poor little birds hit the window - great idea!!

Yuck, you got even more than we did! It was so depressing watching it snow all day yesterday. Today it's been sunny and a high of 7c, supposed to be the same tomorrow. The snow is almost all melted again, thank goodness!! They're saying rain for the weekend, at least it's not more snow! lol

Such a good idea to have those rings hanging on the windows outside. We've had a few birds commit suicide on our windows as well:-(

Say this with me now...THINK SPRING!! Think it will work? lol xoxo

Oh that looks so cold! That bear really does look real. I like your idea to keep the birds safe; I also see you have a butterfly on one of the chains. Hoping the Easter Bunny doesn't forget you! Maybe he will bring french fries!

Oh you poor dear. I would hate to have snow at this time of the year and I do hope it goes quickly. I love the idea of the chain curtains to protect the birds; it is so sad when they injure or kill themselves by flying into the windows. I do hope you are feeling fine and enjoying your 'freedom' since your post earlier this year.

I am not the slightest bit envious of your snow, a long winter is miserable as far as I am concerned. I hope this is the last snow you will see for a while and that spring arrives very soon, it is definitely here and wonderful.

My the photos are beautiful. But where is spring. 'Whisper." We have rain and hail. And cold. But thankfully no snow.

Hi Jenny, I shiver when seeing your snow pictures --or even thinking about that much snow in April... Brrrrrrrr...

Love your little bear. I really thought he was REAL.

We don't have much trouble with the birds flying into the doors or windows --but it does happen on occasion. I had never thought about putting those chains out there. Neat idea.
Hugs,
Betsy

We honestly don't have snow here in the Philippines. I don't know what it feels like having it, since it's a tropical country.

I'm so happy that you did visit the Deva Lifewear site. Cotton is wonderful.

Due to my age-changed-figure, I've only worn dresses for years. By 'dresses' I mean, simple, A-line, no fussiness, etc.

In the winter, I have the ones made of their heavier cotton material, and wear blouses or mock-turtleneck tops, under them. In summer, the full cotton skirt is coooooooool. I'm sure you will be happily surprised! :-)

Gentle hugs,
~♥~
